Built in late 14th century, Turabek Khanum Mausoleum is placed in Turkmenistan Tours due to its most incredible design and as the largest monument in Konye-Urgench. The mausoleum was built in the honour of Turabek-Khanym, the daughter of Uzbek Khan.
Uzbek-Khanum, the governor of Golden Horde is known as for converting the area into Islam. So, the master worked hard and built this mausoleum. But, she married to Kutlug Timur, the governor of Khoresm. So he killed himself by jumping off from the building. Later, this mausoleum becomes a tomb of sufi kings and also the tomb of Turabek Khanum, the princess.

Turabek Khanum Mausoleum can be found in the northernmost part of the area of Konye Urgench old city under UNESCO Section I in Turkmenistan Tours.

There are three main parts which are: a large domed central chamber called as, “ziyaratkhana”, a smaller tomb chamber on the north known as “gurkhana”, and an antechamber connected to the monumental portal to the south, called as “pishtaq”. The inner part of the mausoleum is a fine mosaic panel having the ornament with the stars and flowers. The panel represents the finest unmatchable oriental art. Some years ago, there was a dark blue glazed tabernacle was on a high drum with twelve apertures above Turabek Khanum Mausoleum.
