Constructed by Polimeks, a Turkish company in 2011, the Wedding Palace Ashgabat is an eleven-storey civil building covering an area of over 38,000 square metres. Called as “Bagt Koshgi” which means, “Palace of Happiness”, the Wedding Palace Ashgabat was inaugurated in the 20th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence. The inauguration ceremony was attended by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

• The interior of wedding palace is made in Turkmen style. The lower floors of the white and gold structure are star-shaped with a staggered fashion.
• For the registration of marriage, the centre has six rooms. There are three wedding hall for the events, two of these halls have a capacity of 500 each and one holds 1000.
• Famous as one of the Turkmenistan Highlights, the palace is crowned with a geometrically caged disco ball globe and enclosed by a frame of eight-sided Turkmen stars. The most interesting part is the Golden Hall for weddings, called "Shamchyrag" can be found in the central part of the disco ball globe on 9th floor.
• Wedding Palace Ashgabat has 7 banquet rooms, 36 shops and two cafes, providing all the necessary items for the wedding, including dress shops, decorations, jewellery, photo studio, beauty salon and even 22-room hotel. On the 3rd and 4th floors, the administrative offices and a library can be found.
