Islam hoja minaret is a minaret in Khiva; located in the center of the Ichan-Kala citadel and is the part of the Islam Khoja complex, along with the madrasah. It is the highest building of old Khiva, with the height of 56.6 meters, and it is the second highest minaret in Central Asia.

The construction of the Minaret And Mosque Of Khoja Islam was started in 1908 , at the initiative of the father-in-law and the main vizier of the ruler of the Khiva Khanate Asfandiyar Khan , Islam Khoja . The famous architect Khudoybergan Hadji participated in the construction of the minaret and madrasah, as well as skillful creators of the patterns Eshmuhammad Khudoyberdiev and Bolta Voisov. The construction of both Islam Khodja Minaret and Mosque was completed by 1910 as per Uzbekistan Travel Advice.
The base of the minaret is 9.5 meters. A brick spiral staircase winds inside the pillar, leading to the site of the rotunda - a lantern resting on the protruding rows of masonry, decorated in the form of a lush stalactite cornice - a scarf. It made the minaret perform several functions at one time. It was also an observation tower, also had a religious function, in particular, it was used for azan - prayer to the nearest mosque. The decorative belts of blue and white ceramics alternating with ochre bricks adorn the minaret. It is topped by arched lantern and golden crown. The minaret dominates its part of the city and concentrates around it thousand of domes and vaulted constructions.
