The present buildings are mainly the work of Inaq Iltuzer Khan who has renewed it on early 19th century. The harem in the northern part of the citadel was built under Mukhammad Rahim-khan II in the second half of 19th century. The throne room was built in the reception courtyard in between 1804 and 1806. The summer mosque was built in 1838 which can be found to the right of the main entrance.
